English as a tool not knowledge -
※English’s below
「Here? To go?」
「would you like bag??」
Ah....That includes a coffee. Do you want another cup of coffee??」

When I come to Hiroo(広尾) one of the area in Tokyo, I’m noticed how diverse it is.
We can see many foreigners in my city Yokohama as well. But It seems like there’re more multiple cultures in Hiroo.
Having a conversation with family members at park, changing the seat freely and keeping on talking with friends at cafe, interacting in both English and Japanese.
「Here? To go?」
「would you like bag??」
「Arigato!!」
Ah....That includes a coffee. Do you want another cup of coffee??」
Personally it’s quite comfortable to be there :)) when I have a seminar around Hiroo, I get there ahead of schedule and chill out at the cafe. That’s my fav time.
Even thought there’re a lot of place to hear and speak English, feel many cultural things on daily basis, we till spend big ducks on English school to get an opportunity to learn English. I’ve felt sorry for it.
Of course there are people who are motivated by invest in English. It’s Ok and I appreciate people who take an online lesson, study theirselves etc.
I have to learn from their behavior and take passions from them. Also we should know the exist of the place like Hiroo.
Shouldn’t take English as knowledge but a tool to connect to others.
Just a tool. Whatever you have things to wanna tell someone, it'll gain meaning.
